About Us

Big Finish Productions is a production company, publisher and distributor. We produce CDs, downloads and books.

We are perhaps best known for our Doctor Who ranges of full-cast audio dramas (and its various spin-offs) but we also produce a wide range other series, including Torchwood, Blake's 7, Star Cops, Sherlock Holmes and more.

The chairman of the company and co-executive producer is Jason Haigh-Ellery. The company name comes from the title of an episode of Steven Moffat's much-loved TV programme Press Gang, entitled The Big Finish.

Nicholas Briggs is co-executive producer with Jason, and as Creative Director he is responsible for the whole of Big Finish's output. John Ainsworth is our Senior Producer across all ranges.
